GP FOR MUNCIPAL ADMN URBAN DEV 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE NYAPATHY VIJAY WRIT PETITION NO: 24579 of 2025 The Court made the following Order: Heard Sri Vadapalli Ramesh, learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Additional Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development. 2. Sri Vadapalli Ramesh, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the Petitioner was initially appointed as Bill Collector on 17.02.2002 under compassionate grounds and is due for promotion into the cadre of Junior Assistant. While so, Respondent No.5 who was appointed as Bill Collector on 04.09.2014 and is junior to the Petitioner in the Seniority List of Bill Collector was promoted to the post of Junior Assistant vide Proceedings R.C.No.1142/2024/C1 dated 02.05.2025. Questioning the same, the Petitioner submitted an Appeal/ Representation to Respondent No.3 on 02.05.2025, 26.05.2025 and 04.08.2025. As the same was not considered, the present Writ Petition is filed. 3. Learned Additional Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development would submit that 4 Respondent No.3 will consider and dispose of the Petitioner’s Appeal/Representation as expeditiously as possible. 4. Considering the submissions made, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing Respondent No.3 to consider and dispose of the Petitioner’s Appeal/Representation dated 04.08.2025 and pass appropriate orders, within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of copy of this Order, in accordance with the law, after giving due notice & opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned. 5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
