2. The instant application has been filed for seeking permission to organize 4 days Cultural and Sports program in the ground of G.S.S.S. Cheog from 18.10.2025 to 21.10.2025. 3. It has been pointed out in the said application that there was an alternative ground/playground in the vicinity but due to heavy monsoon season this year, such playground had witnessed land slides and in such circumstances, the applicant-society is seeking permission to organize this year program in the playground of G.S.S.S, Cheog during Diwali holidays in the school. 4. It has been mentioned that the Principal of the school has given his consent to organize a fair/program to the limited extent subject to the orders passed by this Court. 5. Counsel for the respondents-State has no objection to organize the said Cultural and Sports program. 6. Keeping in view the above, we allow this application and permit the applicant to organize “Cultural and Sports program” in the ground of G.S.S.S. Cheog, Tehsil Theog, District Shimla, Himachal Pradesh w.e.f. 18.10.2025 to 21.10.2025 subject to the following conditions:- (i) That no damage shall be caused to the property of the school and its playground, where the fair is proposed to be organized. (ii) That after the event is over, the playground shall be handed over to the Principal of the aforesaid school in a neat and clean condition and it shall be ensured that no plastic is used except the one permissible under the law. The administration shall ensure that the playground is cleaned after the fair. (iii) That the toilets of the school meant for students and staff shall not be allowed to be used by the general public attending the fair and the applicant shall make proper arrangements of the toilets for the visitors and general public attending the fair. (iv) That the law and order shall be maintained by the local administration during the said period. (v) That the applicant shall deposit a sum of Rs.20,000/- in the Student Welfare Fund of the School. 7.
