Grievance of the petitioner is with regard to non-recording of petitioner's name in the registration certificate of the vehicle in question. Submission is also made with regard to denial of permit to the petitioner to run the aforesaid vehicle. Instructions have been obtained by learned State Counsel, according to which the vehicle has been transferred in the name of petitioner. Grievance of petitioner in that regard, thus, stands redressed. So far as the transfer of permit is concerned, various aspects have been highlighted by the respondents. In the facts of the case, we direct the respondent no.3 to pass appropriate orders in respect of transfer of permit, within a period of four weeks from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order, in accordance with law.
