Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for correction of his date of birth and joining date recorded in the seniority list as according to him date of birth recorded in the service book as 01.01.1987 and joining is recorded as 04.02.2008 whereas in the seniority list his date of birth is shown as 01.01.1967 and joining as 02.04.2008. 3. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the final seniority list carries serious discrepancy and accordingly his representation is liable to be considered in accordance with law. 4. Learned Standing Counsel has no objection if the fresh representation is filed by the petitioner and the same is decided in accordance with law. 5. In view of the above this petition stands disposed of with direction to the petitioner to make a fresh representation regarding his claim within a period of four weeks from today before the competent authority which shall be looked into more especially the correct entries in the service book and considered and shall also be decided as expeditiously as possible preferably within a further period of one month.
