Nanda, Advocate For the State : Mr. B.N. Ojha, Spl.P.P -------- 02/ Dated 04.11.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Palkot P.S. Case No. 64 of 2025, for the offence under Sections 17(b)/21(b)/22(b)/29 of NDPS Act, pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge, Gumla. It was submitted that about 19.9 grams of brown sugar were recovered from the joint possession of the petitioner and co-accused. It was further submitted that the quantum of seized brown sugar comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was finally submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Gumla, in connection with Palkot P.S.
