Case No. 417 of 2025 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 517 of 2025 pending in the file of JMFC, Parjang, for commission of offences punishable U/Ss.103(1)/3(5) of BNS, on the main allegation of committing murder of one Prasanta Behera by assaulting him conjointly with co-accused persons using cudgel and lathis. 2. Heard, Mr. Prasanna Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. T.K. Acharya, learned Addl. PP in the matter and perused the record. 3. After having considered the rival submissions and taking into consideration the nature and gravity of the offences as alleged against the petitioners vis-à-vis the accusations sought to be brought against them and regard being had to the materials placed on record and there being eye witness account to the occurrence and last but not the least, taking into account the punishment provided for the offences alleged against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to any of the petitioners at this stage. 4. Hence the bail application of the petitioners stands rejected. Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
