263 IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH CRM-M-13469-2025 DECIDED ON:22.05.2025 HARDEEP SINGH …..PETITIONER VERSUS STATE OF PUNJAB AND ANOTHER …..RESPONDENTS CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE SANDEEP MOUDGIL. Present: None for the petitioner. Mr. Rajiv Verma, Sr. DAG, Punjab. ***** SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) This is a petition under Section 528 BNSS, 2023 for quashing of FIR No.0015 dated 24.02.2024 registered under Sections 323, 324, 452, 506, 148, 149 IPC registered at P. S. Mehna, District Moga (Annexure P-1) and Subsequent proceedings arising thereof, on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2). As per the report of Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Moga, it is evident that statements could not be recorded due non-apperance of the parties. Today, the case has been called twice but no one has caused appearance either on the behalf of the petitioner or on behalf of respondent No.2. In view of above, this Court is having strong inference that the parties have resiled from the compromise, therefore, no useful purpose would be served by continuing the proceedings. Hence, the same is dismissed.
