ORDER:
The Criminal Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., praying to quash the proceedings in F.I.R.No.646 of 2021 of Mutyalareddypalli Police Station, Tirupathi Urban District, registered against the petitioner for the offences punishable under Sections 506 I.P.C and 66 ITA-2000-2008.
2. Case of the prosecution is that, the accused, an outsourcing employee at PLAPUS, Srikakulam, has been harassing the de-facto complainant and his brother, Mr. Y. Madhusudana Rao, a School Assistant, for the past few months. The accused allegedly made threatening phone calls from mobile number 9493497119 and posted intimidating WhatsApp status by holding a gun and sent offensive e-mails to the de-facto complainant. Further, the accused threatened the de-facto complainant stating that ‘Elagaina mee udyogalu thienchi, mimmalni, mee kutumbanni champutha.
3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, on instructions of Tirupati Rural

(formerly Mutyalareddypalli) Police, dated 26.12.2024, submits that the investigation is pending for examination of some more witnesses and collection of technical and documentary evidence.
4. Placing the instructions on record, the criminal petition is
disposed of, with a direction to the Tirupati Rural (formerly Mutyalareddypalli) Police to complete the investigation and file charge-sheet, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the charge-sheet.
5. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed. __________________________
