Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with NDPS Case No.04 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii) (C)/25 /29 of NDPS Act, pending in the court of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge-cum-NDPS Judge, Lohardaga. It was submitted that 250 kgs. of cannabis were recovered from the possession of co-accused Ramesh Mahto and Arjun Kumar. It was further submitted that the name of the petitioner has come in the confession of co- accused. Mr. Prashant Pallav, learned counsel for the Union of India submitted that name of the petitioner has come in confession of co-accused where they have implicated this petitioner stating that the petitioner had received finance on behalf of other co-accused. It was further submitted that Rs.1,20,000/- were found lying in the account of the petitioner. It appears that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court earlier. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge-cum-NDPS Judge, Lohardaga, in connection with NDPS Case No.04 of 2025.
