The instant petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to remove the garbage dumped over the land of the petitioners being arazi no. 928M area 0.1380 hectare and restrain them from storing garbage over the same in future. 2. Sri A.B. Singhal, learned counsel for the respondent- Development Authority submits that the garbage was dumped by local residents, however, it has been removed by the Development Authority and a signage board has also been put over the land that "Dumping of garbage over the same is prohibited". The photographs along with written instructions in support of the said plea have been produced before us. 3. In view of the above, the cause of action does not survive.
