The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- “(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ(s), order(s), direction(s) more particularly a writ of mandamus commanding upon the concerned respondent to issue rent receipt (Malgujari Rashid) in the name of the petitioner for the land measuring 98.62 decimals of Khata Nos. 8, 12, 36, 79, 80, 110, 508 and 809 in Chas Mauja and Circle, Thana No.30, Holding No. 731/22, the mutation of which has already been made in the name of the petitioner and his brother Rajesh Chandra Ghoshal, who died unmarried on 23.02.2024, in Mutation Case No. 414 (iii) of 1993-94 under Thoka No. 680/2013 and online rent receipt was also being issued and lastly issued for the year 2021-22. (ii) For issuance of an appropriate writ(s), order(s), direction(s) more particularly a writ of mandamus commanding upon the concerned respondent for continuing / restoring and entering the name of the petitioner in on-line Revenue Records / Register-II in respect of 98.62 decimals of land of Khata Nos.8, 12, 36, 79, 80, 110, 508 and 809 in Chas Mauja and Circle, Thana No. 30, Holding No. 731/22, the mutation of which already made in Mutation Case No. 414 (iii) of 93-94 under Thoka No. 680/2013 in the name of the petitioner and rent receipt was also being issued lastly for the year 2021-22 on 14.04.2021.” 2. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that after filing of the present writ petition, the petitioner has died and as such permission 2025:JHHC:37195 2 W.P.(C) No.7116 of 2025 may be granted to withdraw the present writ petition with a liberty to file fresh one through his legal representative, if the cause of action survives. 3.
