Present petition has been filed by the petitioner against the impugned award dated 24.06.2023 passed by the learned 2nd Additional Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Janjgir, District-Janjgir-Champa in Motor Accident Claim Case- 40 of 2016, whereby an award to the tune of Rs.9,14,455/- has been passed in favour of the Claimants, and liability is fastened upon the Owner, and Driver of the offending vehicle, and the Insurance Company has been exonerated. 2. During pendency of the present appeal, Owner has entered into compromise with the complainant, and the amount of compensation has already been paid to him. Hence, the appellant/Owner of the offending vehicle does not want to prosecute the appeal any further. 3.
