Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration & Urban Development, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance & Planning, and the learned Standing Counsel for the Corporation. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has executed the works entrusted by the respondent-corporation, vide agreement No.200/2022-23, dated 08.02.2023 and submitted the final bills. It is submitted that the competent authority has recorded the progress of the work and certified the same in the M-Book. It is further submitted that the value of the work certified by the respondents is Rs.27,87,939/- and the bill was approved for an amount of Rs.23,78,684/- after deductions of Rs.4,09,255/-. Though the bills were approved and the progress of the work was recorded in the M-Book, no amounts have been forthcoming. 3. Considering the submissions, respondent Nos.2 and 7 are hereby directed to verify and release the payments due payable to the -3- W.P. No.24247 of 2025 Date of order: 10.09.2025 petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.
