The prosecution's case is that on ll.08.2025 at 1:00 P.M., at the veranda behind the accused's house near Vinayaka Temple, Vijayapuram VI'Ilage and MandaI, and reported the same day at 2:00 P.M., police found the house locked and, upon checking the veranda, discovered 211 liquor bottles: Bangalore Brandy (1?0 ml, €99 each), Mansion House Brandy (20 bottles, 180 mI, Rs.200 each), Old Admiral Brandy (4 bottles,180 ml, Rs.130 each), and officer's choice Brandy (35 bottles, 180 mI, Rs.160 each), valued at Rs.26,346/-. Acting on credible information, HC-3117 D, Subramanyam seized the bottles under a mahazarnama. Hence, the FIR. 3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor. Perused the record. 4. Sri Nagarjuna Sidhadapu, the learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the petitioner has. not committed any offence; he was falsely implicated in this case. He is the sole breadwinner of his family. He is ready to abide by any conditions to be imposed by this Court. It is urged to grant pre- arrest bail to the petitioner. 5. Per cot,ira, Ms. P. Akhila, the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, 4 opposed in granting of bail stating that some more material witnesses have to be examined; investigation is not completed; if the petitioner is- enlarged on bail., he would not be available for the investigation and he woulcl escape from c-.`

However, it is submitted that there are nO adverse antecedents against the petitioner, and requested to pass appropriate orders. 6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court finds that the alI'eged recovery of liquor bottles from the veranda behind the accusedJs locked residence does not, at this stage, establish conscious possession or direct involvement. The seizure was made based on information received, and there is no evidence placing the accused at the scene or indicating her knowledge of the contraband.
The nature of the offence is not grave, and custodial interrogation is not warranted. The accused has no prior criminal antecedents .and poses no flight risk. The petitioner is a pe`rmanent resident of D.No.4/71, Vijayapuram Village and Mandal, Chittoor District. 7. Considering the nature and gravity of the allegations levelled against the petitioner' and her alleged role played in this case, this Court deems it fit to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner/accused. 8. ln the result, the Criminal Petition is allowed with the following conditions: i. !n the.event of her arrest, the Petitioner/Accusecl shall be enlargec! on bail subject to the executing a boncl for a sum of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousancl Only), each with two

The Petitioner/Accused shall make herself available for investigation as and when required; iii. The Petitioner/Accused shall appear before the Station House Officer concerned Once a Week i.e., every Saturday between 10.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m., till filing of the charge Sheet. v.
