1. This is an office reference.
2. This Court, vide order dated 29.07.2024, passed in MCRC No. 4598 of 2024, while rejecting the bail to the applicant, namely, Suraj Pandey, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment.
3. Earlier on occasion also, this Court had granted extension of time for conclusion of the trial vide order dated 10.02.2025 in CRMP No.515/2025.

2 (C.G.), through the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Bilaspur, District – Bilaspur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 27.05.2025 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial.

It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that the trial is fixed for prosecution witnesses, a total of 6 prosecution witnesses have been examined and the statement of the victim's mother, brother and victim's husband is yet to be taken. Hence, the conclusion of the trial is likely to take some time. Therefore, he prays for grant of further more time for concluding the same.
6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is
directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of three months from today.
7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction.
8. Registry is directed to send a certified copy of this order to the trial Court concerned for necessary information and compliance. Sd/-
