Petitioners have been made accused in connection with Lesliganj P.S. Case No. 84 of 2025 for the offence registered under Section 309 (4) of the B.N.S., 2023 and cognizance has been taken for the offences under Sections 309(4) and 317(4) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Palamau.

On 21.06.2025 at about 7.00 pm, while the informant was returning home from his jewellery shop, he was robbed by unknown persons.

It was submitted that the petitioners were neither named in the FIR nor they were put on test identification parade. It was further submitted that the petitioners are in custody since 27.06.2025.

Learned Spl. P.P. appearing for the State has submitted that on the disclosure of the petitioners, some of the looted jewelleries were recovered.

Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail. Accordingly, their prayer for bail is rejected, at this stage.
