The petitioner's husband died in harness on 02.08.1990 and now in the year 2025, the petitioner has approached this Court that post retiral dues of her deceased husband be paid. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner was regularly approaching and since in the year 2018, the matter was referred for consideration, however, thereafter no action has been taken till date. Sri Saurabh Tiwari, learned counsel for respondent submits that it appears that petitioner has approached at very belated stage i.e. after more than 25 years. I have considered the above submission and perused the record. There is no document on record that petitioner has immediately approached the concerned authority after death of her husband, however, still considering that there is a some communication in the year 2018, whereby, the claim of petitioner is being proceeded further, therefore, ignoring that petitioner has now approached after about 6 to 7 years, this writ petition is disposed of with an observation that if matter is still seized with concerned respondent, the same will take a reasoned decision, in accordance with law.
