The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following relief(s):- “It is, therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow this petition and set-aside/quash the F.I.R. No. 124/2004 registered by the police station Lormi, District Bilaspur (C.G.) for the offence u/s 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B, 406, 409 of I.P.C. and section 3, 7 of the 14.07.2004 as well as Essential Commodities Act, on Criminal Case No. 340/2022 pending before learned J.M.F C. Lormi vide and acquit the petitioner from the charges., in the interest of justice.” 4. Learned State counsel submits that the the charge-sheet has been filed in the year 2012 and the arrest warrant against the accused has been issued in the year 2023. 5. We have perused the prayers and pleading made in the petition along with the annexures annexed in this case. 6. As none appears on behalf of the petitioner, it appears that he has lost interest in pursuing the present matter. Accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed on this count alone.
