P.P. 02/ 29.10.2025: Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State. 2. The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Doranda P.S. Case No. 231/2025, registered under sections 325/3(5) of BNS, 2023 and under section 12 (1) of Jharkhand Bovine Animal Prohibition of Slaughter, Act, 2005 and also under section 11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act-1960, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate-XIII at Ranchi. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that false allegations are made against the petitioners of fleeing away from the spot. He further submits that allegations are also made that 25 kg beef was recovered from Doma Kureshi @ Alam Qureshi. He submits that petitioners have no criminal antecedent which is disclosed in para 9 of the petition. On these grounds, he submits that the petitioners may kindly be provided privilege of anticipatory bail. 4. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer and submits that allegations are there against the petitioners of fleeing away from the spot. ( 2025:JHHC:32482 ) 5. Considering that alleged beef was recovered from Doma Kureshi @ Alam Qureshi, petitioners have got no criminal antecedent which is disclosed in para 9 of the petition and only allegations are there against the petitioners of fleeing away from the spot, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the above named, petitioners are directed to surrender before the learned court within three weeks from today and in the event of their surrender / arrest, the petitioners shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 25,000/- (twenty five thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate-XIII at Ranchi, in connection with Doranda P.S.
