Heard the learned counsel for the parties. 2. The present writ petition has been filed for following reliefs:- “for issuance of appropriate writ(s)/order(s)/direction(s) particularly in the nature of mandamus, commanding upon the concerned respondents specially respondent no.4 i.e. the circle officer, Balumath to expedite the representations of the petitioner which has been duly received in the office of the Circle officer, Balumath on 21.05.24, which was received on 15.06.2023, in connection with issuance of online rent receipt with respect to mauja Chamatu, Thana no. 56, Circle Balumath, District-Latehar, Khata number and Kheshra number of the same has been mentioned in the order of the Revenue officer pursuant to common order passed in favour of the petitioner by the Revenue officer Latehar in Revenue Case no. 3734/90, vide its order dated 15.09.17, which has been kept pending without any rhyme and reason and as per the knowledge of the petitioner there is no any legal impediment for the issuance of the same with respect to the Khata number and kheshra numbers referred herein.” 3. The description of the land of the petitioner is as follows:- 2025:JHHC:36611 Page | 2 W.P. (C) No.6885 of 2025 “Mouza-Chamatu, Thana No.56, Khata Nos.213 & 140, Kheshra Nos.2396, 2487, 2482, 2440, 2469, 2443, 2473, 2390, 2644, 2379, 2408, 1849, 1832, 1822, 1835, 2591, 2596, 603, 2594, 2598 and 2599 and corresponding to area 0.62, 0.11, 0.11, 0.82, 0.60, 0.15, 2.82, 0.47, 0.44, 4.86, 0.15, 1.76, 0.28, 1.24, 0.61, 0.10, 0.30, 0.35, 0.23, 0.33 and 0.90 total rakba 17.25 acres of land.” 4. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the rent receipts was earlier issued to the petitioner till year 2007-2008 and thereafter it has been denied on the ground that the land in question has not been reflecting online on the official website. 5. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the online entry is not the correct reflection of the official record. Although the online entry has no legal basis, still it has great impact in practical life and further it is a government record. 6. It is not in dispute that online entry should be correct and true reflection of the official record. 7. In view of the above discussion, the present writ petition is, hereby, disposed of directing the respondents to make online entry of the land in question on the official website of Jharkhand State maintained for the records of land and issue online continuous Khatiyan (Adhikar Abhilekh) for the land in question and also issue rent receipt in the name of petitioner, within six weeks from the date of receipt/ production of copy of this order. 8. It is made clear that if the aforesaid exercise is not completed within six weeks, the petitioner is entitled for Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) as litigation cost, to be paid by the Deputy Commissioner, Latehar, who will recover the said amount from the erring officials. 9. The Secretary, Department of Revenue, Registration & Land Reforms, Government of Jharkhand is held responsible for compliance of the aforesaid order. 10.
