The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Katkamsandi P.S. Case No. 88 of 2022 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 43 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 21(b)(c), 22(b)(c) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-IV, Hazaribagh. 3. On 26.06.2025, Katkamsandi Police, on the basis of confidential information intercepted a car near Katkamsandi and on search, 655.670 grams of brown sugar were recovered from the said vehicle. 4. It was submitted that the petitioner was not arrested at the spot. It was further submitted that the name of the petitioner has come in confession of co- accused. 5. Mr. Vishwanath Roy, learned Special P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent relating to theft. 6. Considering the fact that there is no cogent material against the petitioner on the record, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-IV, Hazaribagh in connection with Katkamsandi P.S.
