The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Burmu P.S. Case No. 03 of 2025, S.T. Casse No.291 of 2025, for the offence under Sections 308(3), 308(5), 308(4) and 61(2) of the B.N.S, Sections 25(1-A), 25(1-B)(a), 26 and 35 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of the CLA Act, pending in the court of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-XI, Ranchi. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 5482/2025, by order dated 23.09.2025. During the intervening period of 11/12.01.2025, Burmu police apprehended this petitioner along-with co-accused persons from Chaingarha (Khuter) field. On search, a loaded country made pistol is alleged to have been recovered from possession of the petitioner. It appears that petitioner is accused in as many as 13 cases. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is in custody since 12.01.2025. Considering the criminal antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected, at this stage.
