The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No.78 of 2025 arising out of Lohardaga P.S. Case No. 80 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 317(5)/3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Sections 12/13 of the Jharkhand Bovine Animal Prohibition of Slaughter Act and Section 11 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, pending in the court of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Lohardaga. On 26.05.2025 at about 1:30 A.M., Lohardaga police on the basis of confidential information intercepted a Scorpio from the place near Aziz Cottage Balmiki Nagar and on search, six cattle were found loaded on the said vehicle. It was submitted that petitioner was not apprehended at the place of occurrence. Criminal antecedent report of the petitioner was earlier called for, has been received. It appears that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Lohardaga, in connection with S.T.
