Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:43207 Court No. - 9 Case :- WRIT - C No. - 8440 of 2025 Petitioner :- Smt. Arti Devi Respondent :- Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (North) And 3 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Vidya Kant Shukla Hon'ble Rohit Ranjan Agarwal,J. This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "I-Issue a writ order ΟΙ direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (North) Kanpur Nagar respondent no.1 to decide the pending in M.A.C.P. No. 400 of 2022 (Smt. Arti Devi and others Vs. Gore Lal and another) expeditiously." It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioners that Motor Accident Claims Petition is pending consideration since 2022 before Motor Accident Claims Tribunal. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, or calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to the private respondent, the matter is being disposed of, at the admission stage, with a direction upon Tribunal concerned to decide the pending M.A.C.P. No. 400 of 2022 (Smt. Arti Devi and others Vs. Gore Lal and another) after hearing all the concerned parties, strictly in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merits.
