Through the medium of the instant application, duly supported by an affidavit, learned counsel for the applicants/respondents seeks permission to place on record the reply on their behalf and prays for condonation of delay in filing the same. The reply sought to be placed on record has also been filed along with the application. 2. This Court is of the opinion that it may meet the ends of justice, in case the application is allowed and the reply filed by the applicants/respondents is taken on record, as the same shall facilitate proper and just decision of the case. 3. Accordingly, the application is allowed. The reply dated 9th February, 2026, filed by the applicants/respondents, is taken on record. 4. The application stands disposed of. In the facts and circumstances of the case, having regard to the respective pleadings of the parties and particularly the relief sought in the petition, this Court is of the opinion that the matter can be disposed of even at this threshold stage by passing appropriate orders which are not likely to prejudice the interests of the respondents/J & K Bank. 2. Accordingly, the matter is taken up for disposal and is disposed of at this threshold stage with a direction to the respondents/J & K Bank to defreeze the salary account of the petitioner maintained with respondent No. 2 (Branch Manager, Jammu & Kashmir Bank, Branch Agro Hi-Tech, Sopore, District Baramulla, PIN-193201), bearing Account No. 0068040120000003, after due verification, except to the extent of doubtful/suspicious and lien-marked transactions, however, with liberty to the investigating agency to investigate the matter with regard to the alleged suspicious/lien-marked transactions/entries and to have a surveillance on the transactions of the account, in accordance with law. 3.
