This Court, vide order dated 16.08.2024, passed in MCRC No. 4949 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the petitioner, namely, Shashank Rajak had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of 06 months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on two occasions also, this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 16.08.2024. 4. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Raipur District - Raipur (C.G.), VAIBHAV SINGH Digitally signed by VAIBHAV SINGH Date: 2025.07.04 12:01:47 +0530 2 vide his request letter dated 18.06.2025, has requested an extension of more time to conclude the trial, stating that after framing of charges in the above case, statements of eight witnesses have been recorded and at the evidence stage, the accused has been absent since 14/01/2025. The accused is a resident of village Shrivarni Jain Inter College, opposite Police Line, Lalitpur, Thana Kotwali, District Lalitpur (U.P.). Due to which the arrest warrant is also not being served. Due to the absence of the accused in the case, the case could not be resolved within the time limit prescribed by the Hon'ble High Court. The time limit given by the Hon'ble Chhattisgarh High Court is expiring on 24/06/2025. Hence, he prays for the more time to conclude the trial. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of three months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7.
