Learned advocate Ms. Dhanushri R. for the complainant fairly submitted that the pension amount is already paid. In that view, she could not dispute that there is a compliance of the directions of learned Single Judge. However, she submitted that interest on belated payment of pension is not paid. She relied on the Circular dated 13.04.2012 issued by the Reserve Bank of India.
2. When the directions of learned Single Judge are seen, there is no direction regarding payment of interest. In that view, the Court is not able to carry further the submission of learned

advocate for the complainant in the contempt jurisdiction. The contempt proceedings are required to be closed.
3. As far the claim for interest is concerned, it will be open for the complainant to make a representation to the Competent Authority in light of the Circular of the Reserve Bank of India mentioned as above.
4. In the alternative, the complainant to institute independent legal proceedings for recovery of interest in accordance with law.
5. The contempt petition is disposed of accordingly.
