Counsel for the Petitioner prays for the following relief(s):- (i)That, this Hon’ble Court kindly be pleased to issue appropriate writ/order/direction to the respondent authorities and direct them to immediately pay all the Digitally signed by JYOTI JHA Date: 2025.07.07 11:15:51 +0530 2 compensation amount awarded to the petitioner in lieu of the acquisition of his land for the construction of widening of Bilaspur-Urga Road, in the larger interest of justice. (ii)That this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue appropriate writ/order/direction to the respondent authorities to pay any other dues/benefit arising out of the land acquisition to the petitioner, in the interest of justice. (iii) That this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to pay interest for the delay in payment of compensation amount for the period 2019 till the realization of the compensation. (iv) That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to decide the representation made by the petitioner as early as possible. (v) That this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent No. 2/Collector for issue the notification for acquisition of land and passing the fresh award. (vi) Any other relief which may be suitable in the facts and circumstances of the case, may also be granted. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has made several representation for payment of all the compensation in lieu of the acquisition of land i.e. Khasra No. 189 area 0.2020 hectare (0.50) of the petitioner for construction of widening of Road Bilaspur -Urga, but till date the same has not been considered, therefore he prays for a direction to the concerned authorities to decide his representation and compensation be paid to the petitioner by the respondent authority. 3. Learned State Counsel submits that in view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for petitioner seeking direction to respondent-authorities to consider the pending claim towards the compensation in lieu of the acquisition of land, he is having no objection to the limited prayer and if the claim of the petitioner is pending, it will be considered in accordance with law. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case instead of keeping this petition pending, I find it appropriate to dispose of the 3 same at this stage directing the respondent-authorities to consider/decide the pending claim of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If it is found that the land of the petitioner has been used for construction of the road, necessary steps be taken for payment of compensation towards the land owned by the petitioner at the earliest. 6.
