The petitioner, Executive Engineer of first respondent is before this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, questioning Annexure-A bearing No.KRIDL/Aadalitha/CR-127/2024-25 dated 19.08.2024,
order of transfer and consequential posting of respondent No.2 in his place.

learned counsel Sri.M.K.Prithveesh for petitioner, learned counsel Sri.Sharan B.T. for respondent No.1 and Smt.Akshatha Sharma for Sri.Basavaraj R.Y.,

learned counsel for respondent No.2. Perused the writ petition papers.

This Court, by order dated 28.10.2024 observed that since the petitioner is due to retire in the month of July 2025, the employer-respondent No.1 to make efforts for amicable resolution of disputes, to consider if the order of posting to respondent No.2 may be given after ascertaining places of his choice, subject to availability of vacancies.
4. Taking note of the above, today, learned counsel for respondent No.1 files a memo dated 09.01.2025 enclosing the Official Memorandum dated 09.01.2025 wherein the petitioner is continued as Executive Engineer, Davanagere Division-II of first respondent whereas, respondent No.2 is given posting as Executive Engineer, Bengaluru Division of first respondent.

5. In view of the above development, the writ petition would no more survive for consideration and accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.
