“It is, therefore, prayed that this petition may very kindly be allowed and the order/report dated 2.4.2024 Annexure P25 (Colly) as also communication Annexure P24 dated 18.11.2023 be quashed and set aside with further directions to the 1
2 respondents to correct the entries with respect to land Comprised in old Khasra Nos.1769 and 1770 presently comprised in Khata Khatauni No.19/19 Khasra No.2851 situated at Mauja Lalsinghi Tehsil and District Una and to correct the record by implementing Mutation No.927 and 1121 in the settlement record with respect to above land by allotting 26976 shares out of 53952 shares to the petitioners as per old record or such other order as this Hon’ble Court deems fit and proper be also passed on this petition in the ends of law and justice.” In the light of the fact that orders under challenge are not the orders either passed by a judicial Court or a Tribunal, this Court is of the considered view that this petition Under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is not maintainable as the High Court can exercise its powers Under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, which is supervisory in nature, only against the orders passed by a Judicial Court or a Tribunal. Accordingly, this petition is allowed to be withdrawn,with liberty to the petitioners to seek appropriate remedy against the orders. Registry is directed to return the annexures appended
3 with the petition by retaining a photocopy there of for the purpose of record. Pending miscellaneous application (s), if any, also stands disposed of accordingly.
