The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 109 of 2024 arising out of Latehar P.S. Case No. 19 of 2024 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 242 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 399, 400, 402 & 412 of the I.P.C. and Sections 25(1-B)(a), 26(2) & 35 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Latehar. 3. During the intervening period of 7/8.02.2024, Latehar Police, on the basis of confidential information that some criminals have assembled in a deserted place near Leadi Road, Railway Station and were making preparation for committing dacoity, raided the place of occurrence and apprehended this petitioner alongwith co-accused persons. A country-made pistol is alleged to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. 4. It was submitted that the petitioner is in custody four about one year and nine months. 5. Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Latehar in connection with S.T.
