Petitioners advanced an information on or about 30.05.2024 to the Officer-in-Charge of Lake Police Station as well as Deputy Commissioner of Police of the jurisdiction and the Commissioner of Police. The main grievance of the petitioners were in respect of an iron structure for converting the space into garage which was at the behest of private respondent no.6. There is a civil case also pending. Having considered that more than one year has passed since the information was furnished before the police authorities, I direct the petitioners would submit a fresh representation to the Officer-in-Charge of Lake Police Station who will consider the same within a month 2 from date of receipt of the communication and act in accordance with law. With the aforesaid observations WPA 16665 of 2024 is disposed of. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
