The present Special Leave to Appeal has been filed on behalf of the Appellant under Section 415(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking leave to appeal against the judgment and order dated 28.02.2025, passed by the Court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate/2nd Additional Civil Judge (C.D.), Haridwar, in Complaint Case No. 1039 of 2022 (New No. 328 of 2024) (Computer Registration No. 3119 of 2021), titled “Surendra Singh vs. Pradeep Ahuja”, pertaining to the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, at Police Station Kotwali Haridwar, District Haridwar, whereby the learned Trial Court has acquitted the accused-respondent of the charges levelled against him. 4. Upon consideration of the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the Appellant, this Court is of the view that, at this stage, sufficient grounds exist to grant leave. Accordingly, the Special Leave to Appeal is granted. 5. The Registry is directed to prepare the paper book and supply copies thereof to learned counsel for the parties, in accordance with the Rules. 6. Objections, if any, be filed by the Respondent. 7.
