The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 272 of 2024 arising out of Kunda P.S. Case No. 21 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 341, 323, 385, 387 & 456 of the I.P.C., Sections 25(1-B)a, 26/35 of the Arms Act and Section 17(i)(ii) of the C.L.A. Act, pending in the Court of learned Addl. Sessions Judge-V, Chatra. 3. Bail application of this petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 9151 of 2024 by order dated 28.01.2025. 4. The petitioner along with co-accused persons had gone to collect levy from the informant where they were apprehended by the villagers. On search, firearms were recovered from their possession. It appears that the petitioner is an accused in as many as fifteen cases. 5. A report regarding stage of trial and time required for its conclusion, earlier called for, has been received. It is reported that trial was likely to be concluded within three months. 6. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected. 7. Learned Trial Court shall expedite the trial and conclude the same, preferably within three months, from the next date fixed for recording of evidence. (Ambuj Nath, J.) R.Kr. 05.12.2025 uploaded
