Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner participated in the examination of Junior Engineer Electrical (Trainee) conducted by the respondents. He would further submit that the petitioner qualified for the examination, but in the application form, he had wrongly mentioned his category as Ex-Service Man (Military), and such a certificate could not be produced by the petitioner; therefore, his candidature was rejected. He would also submit that a representation was made by the petitioner on 19.04.2018, but till date, the same has not been decided. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the State would oppose. He would submit that the candidature of the petitioner was rejected way back in the year 2018, whereas this petition was filed in the year 2021, and the delay has not been explained properly. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents placed on the record. 5. Taking into consideration the limited prayer made by Mr. Pandey, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to decide the pending representation made by the petitioner strictly in accordance with the law. 6.
