Petitioner(s) versus Bhim Singh The Director Chhattisgarh Social Audit Unit, Under, Panchayat And Rural Development Department, Raipur Purana D.R.D.A. Bhawan, Collector, Premises, Raipur, District- Raipur Chhattisgarh. ...Respondent(s) (Cause title is taken from the CIS) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ For Petitioner : Shri Shrikant Kaushik, Advocate ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hon'ble Shri Justice Ravindra Kumar Agrawal Order on Board 09.07.2025 1. Present Contempt petition has been filed against willful violation of order dated 18.02.2025, passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court in WPS-995 of 2025. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the representation of the petitioner has been decided by the respondent authority vide order dated 30.05.2025 but the same has not been considered according to the direction given vide order dated 18.02.2025, passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court in WPS- 995 of 2025, and thereby the authority has committed contempt. 3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, and perused the document annexed with the petition. Digitally signed by V PADMAVATHI Date: 2025.07.11 12:14:18 +0530 Cont 977 of 2025 2 4. From perusal of para-5 of the order under contempt, it reveals that a direction was given to respondent-3 to consider the grievance of the petitioner by providing sufficient opportunity of hearing to him, and to decide his representation within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. Petitioner has moved his representation on 01.04.2025, and thereafter, the authority concerned has decided the representation of the petitioner on 30.05.2025, in which it has been observed that a proposal was forwarded on 28.05.2025 to the State Government for payment of salary as per the contract grade pay, and increasing the salary to the extent of 27%, and the same is under consideration before the State Government, and decision in case of the petitioner would be taken only after the decision taken by the State Government on the recommendation dated 28.05.2025, as well as other recommendations. 5. In view of above, I do not find any willful violation of the order passed by order dated 18.02.2025, passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court in WPS-995 of 2025 which warrants interference by this Court, as the authority concerned has rightly considered the representation of the petitioner, and kept in abeyance the decision till the decision taken by the Government on the recommendation. 6. Accordingly, present contempt petition stands dismissed at this stage. Sd/- (Ravindra Kumar Agrawal) JUDGE padma
