The Court made the following: ORDER: The instant Writ Petition is filed by the Petitioner seeking indulgence of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief: “....to issue writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the name of the petitioner as C.Ramesh instead of C.Ramana for the post of Office Attendant Multipurpose as illegal arbitrary unjust and discriminatory and contrary to Art 14 of the Constitution of India and consequently, direct the respondents to accept the application of the petitioner duly interviewing him for the post of Office Attendant Multipurpose as C.Ramesh during interview to be held on 03.07.2018 in the ensuing recruitment process and further direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Office Attendant Multipurpose with all consequential benefits.” 2. The earlier Docket Proceedings would show that none represented for the Petitioner and the matter was directed to be listed today under the caption “For Dismissal”. 3. Despite the matter being listed under the caption “For dismissal”, none represented for the Petitioner today. 2 4. In that view, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
