The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to quash the impugned orders dated 15.01.2018, 15.09.2021 (Annexure No.2 to the writ petition) and 16.10.2024 (Annexure No.8 to the writ petition), passed by the District Magistrate, Tehri Garhwal under Rule 3 read with Rule 57 of the Uttarakhand 2 Mineral (Prevention of Illegal Mining, Transportation and Storage) Rules, 2021. 2. Heard Mr. Dharmendra Barthwal, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Yogesh Tiwari, learned Standing Counsel for the State and Mr. S.S. Chauhan, learned counsel for the respondent no.3. 3.
