Case No. 440 of 2002-03 preferred by the petitioner against the respondent no. 6 claiming restoration of the land appertaining to R.S. Plot no. 597, Khata No. 38, Village- Kalyanpur, P.O.- Hatia, P.S.- Jagarnathpur, District- Ranchi measuring an area of 19 decimals under Section 71A of the Chota Nagpur Tenancy Act, 1809 in view of the fact that the matter was remanded back by the Additional Collector, Ranchi (the respondent no. 4) vide order dated 24.08.2007 passed in S.A.R. Appeal No. 06 R- 15/2006-07 to the respondent no. 5 to pass a fresh order in S.A.R. Case No. 440 of 2002-03. 2. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the ( 2025:JHHC:10044 ) 2 W.P.(C) No. 7625 of 2023 respondent no. 5 making averments with respect to the merit of the case, however it has not been stated as to how soon S.A.R. Case No. 440 of 2002-03 will be disposed of by the said respondent. 3. Under the said circumstance, the respondent no. 5 is directed to expedite the hearing of S.A.R. Case No. 440 of 2002-03 and to dispose it of in accordance with law within two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. 4. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
