The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of direction upon the concerned respondent to entertain the petitioner’s application dated 31.07.2023 filed for directing the respondent nos.4 & 5 to remove the illegal encroachment made over public land situated at Chandankiyari, Bokaro. 2. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and keeping in view the provisions of Section 3 of the Bihar (now Jharkhand) Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956, in stead of entertaining the present writ petition, the petitioner is given liberty to take recourse of the aforesaid provision by filing an application before the respondent no.2-Circle Officer, Chandankiyari, Bokaro who is the Collector under the Act, 1956. 2025:JHHC:10949 2 3.
