Heard the parties. 2. During the course of argument, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents on instruction submits that the amount of GIC and GPF has already been paid to the petitioner. He submits that the pension papers have been forwarded to the Accounts Department for verification and it is expected that within 4 to 5 weeks, the pension will be disbursed to the petitioner. 3. Considering the submission of the counsel for the State, I dispose this writ petition with a direction to the Civil Surgeon, Godda to take appropriate steps and ensure that the admissible family pension to the petitioner is paid within eight weeks from the date of the receipt of copy of this order. If there is any other impediment, the same should be taken care of during the aforesaid period by the Civil Surgeon, Godda. 4. With the aforesaid observations, this writ petition stands disposed of.
