GP FOR HOME 3 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 24901 of 2025 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, Order, or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents more particularly respondent No.3and 4 in frequently calling the 3rd petitioner to the respondent police station at the instance of the respondent No.5 to 7 and in pressurizing and harassing the petitioner to repay the amounts to the unofficial respondents and interfering in the fundamental right of life and personal liberties of the petitioner as illegal, arbitrary, without jurisdiction and also violating article 14, 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the official respondents not to harass the petitioners in calling to the respondent No.4 Police Station and not to interfere with the personal liberties of the petitioners and pass.…” 2. Heard Sri Shaik Mohammed Ismail, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a crime has been registered against the petitioner in Crime No.260 of 2023 on the file of Mannur Police Station, Annamayya District for the offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 465, 467 and 506 of IPC. Subsequently, the crime was transferred to Gajula Mandyam Police Station, Tirupathi District and was renumbered as Crime No.173 of 2025. Learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that the petitioner was released on bail, but the police are repeatedly calling 4 the petitioner to the police station to settle the dispute with the unofficial respondents. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the official respondents would submit that the Court may pass appropriate Orders. 5. Considering the submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the police are directed to follow the due process of law regarding the crime which is pending against the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.
