In view of the fact that the alleged detenues are not in custody, the present Writ Petition can be closed.
2. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the detenues had been illegally detained without any warrant and had been released subsequently, after being subjected to third-degree methods.
3. In these circumstances, this Writ Petition is closed, leaving it open to the petitioner/detenues to approach an appropriate Court for relief.
There shall be no order as to costs.
