GP FOR HOME 3 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 23730 of 2025 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…pleased to issue a Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the Respondent Nos. 2 to 7 in harassing the petitioner by summoning him to the police stations in connection with the offence committed by the Chandrasekhar in Crime No. 49/2025 on the file of Gudur I town Police Station, Gudur, Tirupati District and also for the offences committed by the Chandrasekhar under the jurisdiction of Ongole I town Police Station, Ongole Mandal, Prakasam District is illegal, arbitrary, malafide and violative of Art. 19(1)(g) and 14, 16, 21 and 300A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondent Nos. 2 to 7 not to harass the Petitioner by calling and summoning to the police station nor in any mode in connection with the offence committed by the Chandrasekhar in Crime No. 49/2025 on the file of Gudur I town Police Station, Gudur, Tirupati District and also for the offences committed by the Chandrasekhar under the jurisdiction of Ongole I town Police Station, Ongole Mandal, Prakasam District and pass.…” 2. Heard Sri Rayalcheruvu Abishek Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the police are calling the petitioner to the police station without there being any crime registered against the petitioner. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders. 4 5. Considering the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the police are directed to follow the due process of law in case of any crime has been registered against the petitioner. In absence of any crime against the petitioner, the police are directed not to call the petitioner to the police station.
