GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd and 4th espondent calling the petitioner to the police station in matrimonial dispute and without jurisdiction is illegal arbitrary and violation of the principles of the natural justice and consequently direct the 3rd and 4th respondents not to interfere in matrimonial dispute of the petitioner” 2. Heard Sri M.Karibasaiah, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 2 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the police are calling the petitioner to the police station in the name of family counseling relating to a matrimonial dispute. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that basing on the compliant of respondent No.6 who is the wife of the petitioner, police called the petitioner to the police station for family counseling so far no crime has been registered against the petitioner. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that the petitioner herein filed a divorce petition against unofficial respondent and they are not interested any further counseling before the police. 6. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the police are directed not to call the petitioner to the police station, as it has been informed that the petitioner has already appeared before the police on more than ten occasions in connection with the matrimonial dispute with the unofficial respondent. There shall be no order as to costs.
