Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration & Urban Development, the learned standing counsel for the Corporation, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance and Planning. 2. The petitioner is aggrieved by the non-payment of bills for the work completed. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the competent authority approved the payments and recorded the same in the M Book. However, the payments have not been released. 3. The learned standing counsel appearing for the 8th respondent submits that the respondents authority have cleared some of the petitioner’s bills, while others are yet to be cleared. The remaining bills of the petitioner shall also be cleared on a priority basis. 4. Recording the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel for the corporation, there shall be a direction to the respondents authority to verify and release the payments due payable to the petitioner as 3 W.P.
