Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, the Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42660 of 2025(6) dt.19-03-2026 2/3 learned APP for the State, and the learned counsel for the informant. 3. The petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Korha P.S. Case No. 17 of 2025 registered for the offence under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 103(1), 352, 351(2), & 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 4. As per the prosecution case, the petitioners and others are accused of assaulting and killing the deceased. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have not committed any offence. Petitioner No. 1 is in custody since 07.02.2025 whereas the petitioner no. 2 is in custody since 13.01.2025. He further submits that six witnesses have been examined and they have not supported the prosecution case. 6. Learned A.P.P. for the State and the learned counsel for the informant have vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the trial has started and the allegations levelled against the petitioners are of a serious nature; therefore, the petitioners do not deserve the bail. 7. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and the law laid down by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the case of X vs State of Rajasthan & Anr, 2024 SCC Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42660 of 2025(6) dt.19-03-2026 3/3 OnLine SC 3539, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioners. 8. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands rejected.
