GP FOR HOME 3 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 24926 of 2025 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…pleased to issue a Writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of MANDAMUS declaring the action of the respondents 2 to 5 in not considering the complaints/representations of the petitioner dated 13.06.2025 and 11.07.2025 for providing police protection to the life and liberty of the petitioner and her family members as well house property bearing D.No.3-50 situated in an extent of 0.07 cents in Sy.No.126/1 (part) of Rampachodavaram Village and Mandal, Alluri Seetharama Raju District from the hands of 6th respondent and his henchmen is as wholly illegal, arbitrary and in violation of Art. 14, 21 and 300A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents 2 to 5 to consider the petitioners Complaints/representations dated 13.06.2025 and 11.07.2025 to provide police protection to the life and liberty of the petitioner and her family members as well petitioners house property mentioned above by taking necessary action against the 6th respondent in the interest of justice and to and to pass such….” 2. Heard Sri Musudi Babji, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent police have failed to take any action on the complaints given by the petitioner dated 13.06.2025 and 11.07.2025 for 4 providing police protection to the life and liberty of the petitioner and her family members. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the police have not registered any crime basing on the complaints of the petitioner, since the matter is purely of civil in nature. 5. Recording the above said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. However, the petitioner is at liberty to recourse her remedy before the appropriate forum according to law. The Police are further directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner and take appropriate steps to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.
