Petitioner, who is distinguished Member of Bar, has filed this petition in public interest. 02. A mandamus is prayed for wherein he is assailing the amendments that have been carried in Order V Rule 1 and Order VIII Rule 1 & 10 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, vide S.O. No. 1123(E) dated March 18, 2020 (J&K Reorganization Adaptation of Central Laws) order, 2020. 03. Having argued the matter at some length, the petitioner fairly submits for number of petitions involving identical issues is already pending consideration, he be permitted to withdraw the petition with liberty to the petitioner to intervene in the pending matters. 04. In the wake of above and in terms of the statement made by the petitioner, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, the petitioner shall be at --2-- liberty to move an appropriate application in the matter(s), as indicated earlier, to enable him to render assistance to the Court.
