In terms of the said endorsement the respondent Corporation has held that the petitioner is not entitled for promotion as the punishment imposed on him is still in force. In addition to that it is also stated that an employee who belongs to the Scheduled Caste is junior to the petitioner is promoted. It is further stated that his claim for promotion would be considered in accordance with the rules. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has attained the age of superannuation on 31.03.2020. Learned counsel for the respondent referring to the history sheet recording 102 punishments imposed on the petitioner would submit that even on the date of retirement the punishment imposed on the petitioner was in force. 5. Attention of this Court is drawn to the entries in Sl.Nos.61, 67 and 68 of the history sheet. The entries would reveal that the punishment was in force from 18.04.2015 to 18.04.2021. 6. Since it is not in dispute that the petitioner attained the age of superannuation on 31.03.2020, the petitioner is not entitled to the relief claimed. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
